Professor Qiao Yue graduated from the Department of Physics of Lanzhou University with a bachelor's degree, and a master's and doctoral degree from the Department of Economics of the University of Surrey. He has worked in the Academy of Sciences, the University of Surrey, Shandong University and other institutions.
Professor Qiao Yue's research mainly includes Chinese economic issues, game theory, law and economics, and industrial economics. Since 2010, more than 20 papers have been published in leading academic journals such as Review of Industrial Organization, Economic Modeling, and World Economy. An academic monograph has been published. He presided over and participated in 8 national, provincial and ministerial-level subjects, read papers more than 20 times at well-know international academic conferences and wrote a report on China’s economic issues at the invitation of Edward Elgar Press.
Since 2010, Professor Qiao Yue has participated in policy demonstrations and consultations held by the National Development and Reform Commission, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, and the Ministry of Commerce for many times. He has also participated in the revision of legislation such as the Anti-Unfair Competition Law and the Anti-Monopoly Law. He provided strategic planning and case research for many companies Development include SDIC, China’s Minmetals Corporation, PICC Beijing Branch, Qilu Securities.
