Bio
Dr. Cuicui Lu holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Michigan State University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Shandong University. Since 2020, she has served as an associate professor at the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Shandong University. Previously, she used to work as an assistant professor at Nanjing University Business School. Her research interests lie in the fields of applied econometrics, Chinese economy, and the economics of innovation. She is dedicated to studying issues related to China's economic development. Her empirical research covers areas such as corporate innovation, international trade and investment, and corporate finance. She has been published in journals includingEconomics Letters, China Economic Review, Econometric Reviews, Economic Modelling,andInternational Review of Economics & Finance. She has led one General Project of the National Social Science Foundation of China, one Youth Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and one General Project of the Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province. She has also participated in many other national and provincial-level research projects. She was a visiting scholar at the Development Research Center of the State Council. She has been selected for the Future Plan for Young Scholars of Shandong University and the Qingdao Philosophy and Social Sciences Youth Talent Team.
