On September 18 ,2025,the Seventh International Technology Transformation Forum, hosted by School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship,Shandong University, was grandly convened at Qingdao Campus,Shandong University. Centred on the themeInnovation and Achievement Transformation in the Digital Intelligence Era, the forum featured presentations from over thirty distinguished scholars and experts representing renowned institutions including University of Cambridge, Hosei University, Yamaguchi University, The University of Melbourne, Cheongju University, Peking University, Fudan University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Nanjing University, Dalian University of Technology, Nankai University, East China Normal University, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and Shandong University. Participants engaged in extensive discussions on innovation management and industrial development within the digital and intelligent era, exploring scientific approaches to theoretical research and industrial practice in innovation transformation to address global opportunities and challenges arising from this era. Experts unanimously agreed that the rapid advancement of digital and intelligent technologies necessitates the deep integration of cutting-edge technological innovation, management theory innovation, and industrial practice innovation. Strengthening cooperation and exchange between domestic and international universities will help advance original theoretical research, accelerate the transformation of innovation outcomes, jointly cultivate high-end talent and business models suited to the demands of new productive forces in the digital and intelligent era, and build an innovation ecosystem network with global influence.

Han Shenghao, Dean of School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship,Shandong University, presided over the opening ceremony. Xing Zhanjun, Assistant President of Shandong University and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Qingdao Campus,SDU,delivered the welcome address. On behalf of the university, he extended a warm welcome and sincere gratitude to guests from home and abroad. He emphasized thatas the vital nexus where talent serves as the foremost resource, science and technology as the primary productive force, and innovation as the chief driving force, higher education bears a unique and significantmission.Having evolved through six sessions, the International Technology Transformation Forum, hosted by School of Innovation Entrepreneurship, remains closely aligned with cutting-edge topics in innovation transformation, continuously advancing the construction of innovation ecosystems and the practical application of transformation outcomes. He expressed hope that thissession would attract more pioneers, promoters, and practitioners in innovation transformation to exchange ideas, share experiences, and collectively contribute to advancing the development of the innovation transformation ecosystem.

Spanning two days, the forum featured keynote speeches and high-level dialogues. Additionally, renowned scholars and industry leaders from diverse global fields were invited to participate in a hybrid online-offlineStrategic Consultation Meeting on Innovation Transformation Management Disciplines, providing strategic guidance for buildingthe School with global vision and Chinese characteristics.

The forum not only deepened understanding of innovation management theory and innovation transformation practices in the digital and intelligent era but also provided a valuable exchange platform for advancing the development of relevant disciplines and the transformation of innovation outcomes in universities both domestically and internationally.
