As is scheduled, 2019 SDU commencement and degree-conferring ceremony will be held at all campuses at the end of June. The relevant matters are notified as follows.
1. Qingdao Campus

Sunday, June 23, 8 am
2) Location
Fengyu Playground, Qingdao Campus
3) Participants
Leaders of SDU, leaders of Qingdao Campus, representatives of experts and scholars, members of the academic degree committee, all the graduates of 2019, major party leaders, functional department leaders, representatives of teachers, TV reporters and so on.
2. Requirements
1) All the departments should strictly follow work distribution through active participation and strong coordination to ensure all the work is well-prepared and well-linked.
2) After the commencement ceremony, all the teaching and research departments may organize degree-conferring ceremonies respectively with self-determined time and location. The ceremony should be taken as an important measure to implement the 3 comprehensive education principles. The principle of attaching equal importance to grandness and simple, to inheritance and innovation should also be followed. The priority should be given to the education of the 70th anniversary of the founding of PRC, on ideals and beliefs, on gratitude to schools, on integrity and honesty and so on. Discipline and requirements about the holding of large events of SDU should be implemented by paying attention to politics, contents, forms and words so as to follow the leading paces, spread positive energies and smoothly give the last lesson to the students.
